Domaine Enclos de la Croix is a wine domain in the Languedoc in the south of France. It has 23 hectares of vineyards, all surrounded by a wall – hence “enclos”. The winery is close to the village of Lansargue.
Winemaking is quite traditional. All the harvest is destemmed. Fermentation is done in stainless steel vats with temperature control. Some of the wines are aged in oak barrels.
The winery also makes wine from vineyards that are not their own, other vineyards in the Languedoc-Roussillon region that they find particularly interesting.
The vineyard is planted with a variety of grape varieties: for the red wines they use for example cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, and merlot. For the whites they use primarily sauvignon blanc. Most of the wines is produced under the appellation Vin de Pays d’Oc.
